Gameplay suggestions

Suggestions only:

examine planet link:
I spend most of my time upgrading my planets. If 'examine' was available in more places, players like me would have to click less to get work done. Note the ancillary benefit of keeping the game fast. I would like to see an 'examine' link added to ease movement from the research tab, shipbuilding tab, missions page back to the examine page. Currently I have to go to 'overview' then 'examine' each time.

Planets link:
I use the planets link all the time. The list of planets exhibits some method of organization, but it is not alphabetic, by planet location or by level of planet development. Suggest using an alpabetic list for ease of search. Give the player that figures out the current system a free Tech 10 ;).

Fleets:
Suggest that you list all the fleets from planets in the current system at the top of the list. Free tech 10 comment applies here too.

Click Scanning:
I imagine that when two players do not like each other that you will see each player searching from 0-0 to 9-9 and clicking in each occupied system and each occupied planet. Well, space is really big. With a highly directional antenna maybe you could find occupied planets, but not understand who they are. Suggest that you should not be able to find who owns the system without a proper scan. This would hide players more and may actually encourage players to contest sytems (HAH! I can attack you because you dont know where my good planets are!!). The way it stands now, I think the best defence is to spam the galaxy.

Congratulations to the twisted minds that brought Astarum to life. This is an excellent game with lots of promise, else I wouldnt be here.

Good suggestion, I have put a little symbol next to the planet name in the overview section, you can click this symbol to take you to the examine planet page for that planet.

This should help as it will now appear on every page.

I am working on an idea I have had for scanning - where you build sensors on a planet and you can scan space upto a certain distance - its all just an idea at the moment, but I will keep you updated.

Suggestion: Parallel build planet upgrade
- Two simultaneous builds at one planet. For example build missiles and upgrade tech at the same time.
- Permanent upgrade.
- Cost 25C.

Suggestion: Planetary warp inhibitor
- Doubles the amount of time required for enemy fleets to arrive at your planet.
- Alerts player of incoming invasion.
- This would allow a defending player more time to prepare defenses.

Comment on Combat
This is a very uniformed opinion of the combat system: I think a player should build only the biggest ships possible. They do more damage, carry more salvos (shoot more) and have more health. Is this accurate?

The manual is a little light on Combat. I'd like to understand the combat system better.
